Defence Material:
Weapons and all other products and technologies specifically designed or modified for military use as instruments of force, information or protection in armed conflicts and likewise those whose purpose is the production, testing or use of those included on the List of Defence Material figuring as Annex I of the Regulation (
Royal Decree 1782/2004, of 31 July 2004).
Other Material:
Law enforcement or security material (Spanish acronym MPS) not included in other articles of Annex I and included on the List of Other Material figuring as Annex II of the Regulation (
Royal Decree 1782/2004, of 31 July 2004).
Dual Use Goods and technologies are those products and technologies which are normally used for civilian purposes but which may have military applications and are listed in Annex I of Council Regulation (EC) nº 1183/2007of 18 September 2007 , and the latter’s successive amendments.
The list of Dual Use Goods and technologies is not limited to those appearing in the aforementioned Annex I but also includes those products which fall under the so-called catch-all clause (article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 1334/2000 of 22 June 2000.
