NAVIGATION GUIDE
I. OBJECTIVES
What is a Web Navigation Guide for?
To make accessing the information easier.
Given the vast amount of information published and maintained on the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade's (hereinafter, "MITyC") website, the purpose of this guide is to make it easier for visitors to navigate the site: http://www.comercio.mityc.es.
- The guide will contain and define:
- The navigation design and the different areas of the screen.
- The content structure.
The development criteria as regards compliance with standards and accessibility.
II. AREAS OF THE SCREEN AND NAVIGATION
The following sections can be defined given the following distribution of information on the Trade home page:
[1] Logos of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and the State Secretariat for Trade, with links to their web pages and top toolbar with links to content in different languages and content search engine for searching by keyword. The different help options include: Home, Site Map and Contact Us. Accesses to the different areas of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade's web page in the menus bar.
[2] Links to State Secretariat, Services, Online Procedures and Legislation.
[3] Drop-down menus to access the web site's three main channels: Foreign Trade, Domestic Trade and Foreign Investment.
[4] Links to the Retail Price Observatory, Financial and Commercial Information by Country, Financial Aid for Exports and Investment, Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Statistics and Publications, Domestic Trade Prices Database Enquiries, Foreign Trade Sector Information, Franchises and Distance Selling Register, Financial and Commercial Offices Abroad, and Regional and Provincial Trade Departments in Spain.
[5] Links to the Investor / Exporter Support Centre, Trade Barriers, Integral Plans for Market Development, and the Portal of the Spanish Administrative Authority CITES (Convention on the International Trade in endangered Species of wild Fauna and Flora).

III. STANDARDS AND ACCESSIBILITY
Pursuant to the Information Society Services and e-Commerce Act, we are working to improve accessibility of the Trade website.

All pages on the official Trade site (www.comercio.mityc.es) comply with all the priority 3 checkpoints (level AAA conformance) defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG ) by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI ) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
